Kia ora, ko Jay tāku ingoa

I work in the Highbury community and offer births at Te Papaioea Birthing Centre and Palmerston North Hospital. Our midwifery group offers care in Papaioea/Palmerston North, Te Maire/Shannon, Te Awahou/Foxton, and Sanson.

I support whānau in their journey no matter where it leads, so whether you’re overjoyed to be pregnant or considering your options, I am in a position to care for you and guide you through this time.

I have a special interest in working with young and queer whānau, but I welcome all whānau. I am a tangata tiriti midwife, committed to upholding Te Tiriti, and I am passionate about supporting whānau to achieve healthy, safe outcomes to their hapūtanga.

To enquire with me, please use the enquiry form or email me with your name, phone number, the first day of your last period or estimated due date, and how many babies you have had previously. It’s also helpful to know whether you’re celebrating or considering your options. You can also call or text me at 027 222 4303 during business hours, but please note that texts are like notes left with my butler – I’ll see them when I have a moment.

If you want to know more about what to expect from midwifery care with me, please look through The Process.
