- If you have vaginal bleeding
- If you are past 28 weeks and you have concerns about baby’s movements
- If your waters break or you have an unusual increase in fluid leaking from your vagina, especially before 37 weeks
- If you have regular, painful tightenings/cramps that could be contractions, especially before 37 weeks
- If you have a severe headache that does not go away with Panadol; blurry vision or ‘seeing stars’ in your vision; sudden, severe swelling in your hands, face, or feet; pain just below your ribs, especially on the right where your liver is; you are not urinating as much as usual
- If you have severe itching, particularly on the palms of your hands or the soles of your feet
- If you feel that something is wrong that shouldn’t wait
